I am not much of a make-up person. My skincare routine depends completely on the weather. An hour before taking a shower I apply a pack with natural ingredients like honey, curd and crushed cucumber. I like to keep my make-up light. Especially in summer, I keep my look fresh with nothing more than sunscreen, kajal and lip-gloss. I firmly believe that a weekly oil massage with coconut oil is essential for healthy hair. I also try to get regular hair spas done. I also believe that beautiful skin looks good always so I drink loads of water and eat lots of fruits. |
I am a 16-year-old girl. I used to be very fair in my childhood, but after suffering from typhoid at some point my complexion darkened. Can you please suggest an easy homemade remedy to lighten my skin again? Also, over the years, my hands and legs have got tanned. Please suggest a simple way to remove the tan and also how it can be prevented.

Use sandalwood paste, mixed with milk, as a de-tanner . This has powerful lightening properties and acts as a natural bleach for the skin. Do this on alternate days before bathing.
I am a 23-year-old woman. Recently I had some bug bites on my feet, which have now left ugly black marks. How do I lighten these?

Mix 20ml of coconut oil, 20ml of almond oil and 5ml of sandalwood oil. Store in a bottle and regularly massage on the marks at night before sleeping.
