t2 stops for some street fare at Kenilworth Hotel

Designed by executive chef Khemraj Bhatt, Kenilworth Hotel is back with its popular Street Food Festival for the fourth time. Held on the green lawns, the assortment of nibbles includes the vada pav from Mumbai to Calcutta’s own kathi roll.

 Paddu: Small crispy rolled dosa balls come on a pretty plate with grated coconut sprinkled on top. Dip it in the garlic-tomato or the coconut chutney and have it with cutting chai, which is also part of the festival menu. Rs 325

Designed by executive chef Khemraj Bhatt, Kenilworth Hotel is back with its popular Street Food Festival for the fourth time. Held on the green lawns, the assortment of nibbles includes the vada pav from Mumbai to Calcutta’s own kathi roll. 

“From the food to the people serving it, we want to keep the taste and the look of the festival as authentic as possible. We focus on bringing together different kinds of street food, so nine of 14 plates are completely new, while keeping some of the classics,” said chef Bhatt.

Vardaan Market Ki Thonge Ki Dal Pakori Aur Chilla: A north-western favourite, the spicy deep-fried dal pakori is served in paper cones with some mango and mint chutney. The pakori is made with moong dal, coriander, ginger and fresh green chillies. It comes with a stack of warm chillas on the side. Rs 350
