Celebrations filled the air at 10 Downing Street in Sector V on July 1, as DJ Akash Rohira completed 20 years of his DJing career. Live acoustic performance by Avishek Natta added to the happy Sunday mood as guests danced, dug into yum Chinese bites and sipped on their fave tipple.

DJ Akash was all smiles as he cut a console-themed chocolate cake. “Twenty years have passed by fast but I still have a long way to go. My journey is full of events and the most memorable one would be when I went to Malaysia to play for the royal family in 2016. If I had to pick the songs I have loved playing the most, I would name Neele neele ambar par, I Want To Break Free and Desert Rose,” said Akash.

Arijit Dutta of Priya Entertainments caught up with cricketer Manoj Tiwary. “Unfortunately I have never seen him live but have scrolled through his uploads on Facebook. He plays Bollywood and I am a Bolly music fan. The way he mixes the tunes is just great,” said Tiwary.

Singer Aneek Dhar joined the acoustic band to belt out a mash-up of songs which included Selfish, Dil diyan gallan and his version of Yeh dil na hota bechara, which he had remixed with Akash.
