Suhel Seth Has An Unconventional Take On Personal Problems — And Their Solutions Published 21.10.12, 12:00 AM

My girlfriend of three years has fallen in love with my brother after I introduced the two a few weeks ago. It is very painful, since these are two people I cared for the most. My brother hasn’t shown any interest in her, but I can’t help feeling angry with him. Please advise.

Why should you be angry with your brother? The devious one is the woman and my advice is if she can do this to you with your own brother, she might be sleeping with the chauffeur once you marry her. So, get rid of her and walk away as fast you can. Thank god it is all within the family still and not that she is sleeping with your neighbour!

I work at a private bank. A particular customer, unfortunately one who frequents our branch frequently, has become a terror for us. He walks in every time with a novel problem, most often unique and outright weird, and demands a solution instantly. His raucous behaviour and fits of anger have taken a toll on us. As luck would have it, I was the one who helped him open his account and naturally I am the one who most often faces his wrath. He threatens to lodge complaints with the higher authorities. How can he be taught a lesson?

Look you have to deal with a bully like a bully. So, give it right back to him and see how he cowers but then knowing some of the banks as I do, you people actually drive your customers to the brink. I know of several bankers who I would much rather see dead than behind the counters. So, frankly, until one hears the other side, it is all conjecture. Having said that, why don’t you, one day, tell him to write to your bosses and given the fact that your bosses would be even worse in responding, he will slowly shift his anger there and leave you in peace. Simple, right?
