I am a 17-year-old boy in love with my classmate. I proposed to her and she gave a complicated answer but I’m sure she likes me. There’s another girl who is six years younger. She is like a friend and she’s aware of my feelings for my classmate. But recently she sent me a text that she tried to slash her wrist and is behaving strangely. What should I do?

Listen son, at 17 you are in love with your classmate and then there’s a 12-year-old girl who wishes to slash her wrist for a dolt like you. Are you Rasputin’s grandson or do you generally behave like a maniac? My advice is instead of girls, focus on your studies or else you will be the guy who will be in jail one day for whistling at some women while these women would be happily off. Change your life son. Now.
I am a girl of 17. My best friend proposed to me yesterday but I’m confused as I like him but cannot leave my boyfriend either. What should I do?

At 17 you should be spending time with books and hoping you have a good life but instead you are happy being proposed to? At 17, you can barely write a sentence in correct English and you think you are fit enough to be married or worse still, proposed to? Listen child, dump both these idiots and trust me given the man-woman ratio in this country there will be no dearth of men for you. But as of now visit libraries and not wedding halls.
I am a 22-year-old woman and in love with my former schoolmate. He proposed to me two months ago. He is always short of time and often we don’t even talk for more than a day. He says that this’s how he is. I really am in love with him but this is hurting me and not letting me concentrate on my career. Should I come out of it or wait for things to get better?

Just come out of it. This bloke looks like a call centre lover and you don’t want a situation where you talk to a voice mail or make love to a smartphone. Dump him, wait for a while and then start scouring this planet for the next loser who, I am sure, you will again fall hopelessly in love with.
