Charlize Theron’s minimalist look made us go ‘wow’! At 44, the Bombshell actress slayed in a one-shoulder green Dior gown with a flowy black cape that she wore with a lacy black corset and a tiny belt in the same green shade accentuating her tiny waist.
Our girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, stuck to basics and kept her look safe. Ditching the routine black gown, the actress stepped out in a pink Cristina Ottaviano off-shoulder gown with statement diamond necklace and styled her hair in vintage side-swept waves.
A tender butter-yellow colour, a harness-style bodice, rounded puff sleeves... a lot was going on in Cate Blanchett’s Mary Katrantzou gown but the Ocean’s 8 actress pulled it off with panache, thanks to her simple make-up.
Few things in life are permanent and one of them is the classic red outfit on the red carpet. Scarlett Johansson, who had worn red in 2006 at the red carpet of the same award ceremony, channelled the shade again in a simple yet stunning Vera Wang gown. The strapless gown with a train and accessorised with Bulgari jewels, oozed some serious old world Holly oomph.
Jennifer Lopez made a grand entry in a billowy Valentino ballgown but with OTT golden and green bows that gave us some serious Xmas hangover feels. As much as we love JLo, we are not too sure about the entire look and even the braided bun looked a tad bit off.
The Wolf Of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie looked radiant in a Chanel number. We loved the simplicity of the outfit with a hint of bling. Very wearable and beautiful.
Kerry Washington’s OOTN was clearly one of the boldest. The actress opted for black but with a twist. She gave the shirt a miss and instead wore a Altuzarra blazer with a studded harness and a high-slit skirt. The sleek blunt hair cut and that shade of red on the lips added to the oomph!
Gwyneth Paltrow looked smoking hot in a sheer Fendi gown with ruching. The veteran actress who left little to imagination looked lovely in the caramel outfit that she wore with almost 100 carats of Bulgari diamonds. To rock an almost-see-through outfit without looking tacky is commendable!
Talk about trying something fun? Joey King showed how to work the classy black-and-white combo but with a dramatic touch. The Act actress looked resplendent as she earned her stripes in a wavy textured-sleeve outfit by Iris van Herpen.
