A dog is a man’s best friend but not many places allow you to bring your best friend along when you want to unwind over a cuppa. The Green House cafe, spread over 1,400sq ft, takes care of just that, so you can nibble on snacks while your dog gets busy with chew toys.

Timings: 11am to 10.30pm on weekdays, 7.30am to 10.30pm on weekends

These Golden Fried Prawns are deep-fried, making them crunchy. Served with a cocktail sauce. Rs 280-plus
Light and delicious, this Spaghetti Aglio e Olio is drizzled with olive oil and spices. Rs 180-plus
The Grilled Chicken is topped with spicy paprika sauce and is accompanied by fries and boiled vegetables. Rs 290-plus
The Kinder Joy milkshake tastes exactly like melted Kinder Joy and is blended with white chocolate sauce, dark chocolate sauce and milk, and is topped with chocolate treats. Rs 150-plus
This Orange Mojito is a blast of freshness and is made with Sprite, orange juice, mint leaves and lemon. Rs 140-plus
The lounge: There are two lounges inside the cafe for shisha and sports lovers. The first lounge can accomodate 12 people where they can enjoy sports on a big flat screen. The second lounge is more of a private affair where you can get together with your gang over some PS4 gaming.
We loved the swing-set table right next to the bar. This seating arrangement is ideal for one of those lazy days when all you want to do is relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Settle down with a book and order your fave drink from the menu.
The cafe: While your dog is having a gala time, you can relax inside the 50-seater cafe. Shelves stacked with games and books and yummy snacks and drinks that can be ordered will ensure a fulfilling dose of adda.
The dog’s room: The Green House co-owner Anirban Deb Roy’s bulldog, Brandy, chose his favourite spot in the corner with the pillow, surrounded by his favourite chew and play toys. This 250sq ft area is open for dogs to roll around and play with their other pals. The walls are covered with green leaves to give the feel of outdoors. Do not worry about your dog’s safety as two trained professionals will be present to take care of your buddy!
