Unfortunately I don’t have the luxury of enjoying weekends as most of the events and functions take place on Saturdays and Sundays.

I bought a flat a while back in Bandra, so these days whenever I get some time, I’m busy doing up my flat and arranging things there. I’m very much a home person as opposed to partying or being part of the Page 3 circuit. I’d rather stay at home and have friends come over. It’s wonderful to share quality time and a good laugh with them.

For a movie buff like me, it’s always a pleasure to steal some time out and catch the latest flick at the IMAX theatre in Wadala. The last movie I watched there was Brokeback Mountain. And if I’m eating out, then it is either Hotel Leela or The Grand Hyatt. But the best place for dinner according to me is home. I hardly cook but when I do, I am good at making all kinds of dals. I can also claim to make a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese. Sadly, there are no weekend getaways for me because of work, but I make it a point to visit Amby Valley once a month.

In the last few months, work has given me a good opportunity to travel while hosting the History Channel’s 46 episodes of Biography. Some of my weekends are also reserved for attending charity events and functions where I give motivational speeches to kids.

My family is in Hyderabad, so sometimes I also go and visit them. For the last seven years, though London has been home to me, so if you ask me where I would love to spend my weekends, it would be London for sure. It is a place where I feel very comfortable and at home.
