I am the kind of person who hates making plans, because time and again, I have noticed that carefully laid plans always tend to go awry, whereas things that you decide to do on the spur of the moment turn out to be much more fun. So my weekends are never carefully planned out ? it’s just what appeals to me at that point of time. It also depends a lot on what my friends are planning, because I have a huge group of friends from college and we love hanging out together.

Since I am studying as well as pursuing my career in modelling, weekdays are really tough, what with tests and assignments on one hand and photo shoots and workshops on the other. So weekends are really precious to me since there are no classes. I generally wake up late, skip breakfast and go straight for brunch, either at home or a caf?. I also like to spend time with my family on weekends since I hardly get to see them on the other days. We love taking long drives, and often drive down to Panvel or even Pune, which is easier now with the super expressway.

I also love watching movies, and carefully scan the newspapers on Fridays to check out the new releases. My friends and I make it a point to watch at least one new film a week. Of the recent films I’ve watched, I loved King Kong and Bluffmaster. Although I do like partying, I prefer the private ones where it’s just a close group of friends chilling out ? not the kinds where one hardly knows anybody. But my favourite weekend activity is just lazing around the house, actually. That’s what I love best!
