Giving scope and hope to local artisans is Aboli, a new decor spot on Alipore Road. Brainchild of mother-daughter duo Mittu and Tanishi Agarwal, Aboli focuses on creating a sustainable environment, providing home artefacts and handicrafts made with lots of love. “Our products are sustainable, reusable and eco-friendly. We house art and craft and look after the well-being of the artisans,” said Mittu Agarwal at the star-studded launch party of the store located in White House Garden.

“With our products one will not only be decorating their house beautifully but they will also take care of our greater home — Mother Earth,” said Tanishi.

“I was very delighted to be a part of this launch. Firstly, they have some really beautiful designs and most importantly all the things are made by local artisans. At present time, I think it is really important to give a proper space to the local artisans and Aboli gives that space to those people. Lastly, it’s great that all the products are 100 per cent sustainable and eco-friendly,” said Arjun Chakrabarty.
