Now you can get “high” right in the afternoon! Bombay Brasserie at Quest mall has come out with a desi High Chai menu, which includes dishes with flavours from all over the country. And the best part? Lots of chai.
Choose from a variety of teas such as Masala Chai, Charminar Chai and Kadak Cutting Chai, but if that’s not your cup of tea, head to the Patiala Bar at the restaurant for some desi cocktails or pauwas. Pair them with light bites such as Gunpowder Potatoes, Calcutta Club Fish Fry and Rasta Masala Toasty.
“Indians love snacking in the evening and sometimes it’s okay to skip lunch because of it. This menu has some of the local favourites paired with a selection of desi cocktails and Indian teas from across the country,” said Shikha Nath, brand director, Bombay Brasserie.

SIP AND SING: Have you always been a bathroom singer? You can now sing loud and proud at The Irish House, every Wednesday, 8pm onwards. The Thrilling Karaoke Nights at the Quest pub ensures that there’s a song for everybody with almost a hundred tracks to choose from — old school favourites like Backstreet Boys and Creed to current pop sensations such as Sia and Clean Bandit. Happy hours have been extended till 8pm on Wednesdays (4pm-7pm on other days), so you can build liquid courage before taking the stage. If that isn’t enough to persuade you, karaoke singers also get a shot of Kamikaze on the house to make sure you can hit the “high” notes just right! Pictures: Rashbehari Das
