Popular American high-street brand GAP made its much-awaited entry into the city on April 12 with a store at South City Mall. Spread over 2,450sq ft on the ground floor of the Prince Anwar Shah Road mall, this is the first independent outlet of the brand in eastern India. The collection on the racks right now are from the spring 2018 range. t2 walked in before the doors officially opened and here’s all that we eyed. 

Spotted at the launch was actress Ritabhari Chakraborty, who was dressed head to toe in GAP. “Since I did a shoot with GAP for the launch, I got to try a lot of their apparels, and hence have a few faves myself. Topping the list is this denim jacket which I am wearing today. Calcutta is quite hot now and hence the comfy cotton basics from the brand are ideal for the city,” said Ritabhari as she posed for the t2 camera.
