Style according to you is…

Very individual and not about blindly following trends. One should have distinct tastes of one’s own.

Your favourite shopping destination

Dubai is a shopper’s paradise. You can find almost everything in Dubai — and at reasonable prices too. London and Singapore are my other favourites.

You have a fetish for...

I am a perfume freak and won’t part with my collection at any cost.

How would you describe your closet — well-organised and spanking clean or dreadfully cluttered?

My wardrobe clutters up in a day after I re-organise it. But, amidst the mess, I know exactly where to find things

Gajanan Dudhalkar

Latest buys

The iPhone 5 and a black-and-red jacket from Zara.

If money were no object, what would you add to your closet?

Nothing for my closet at the moment. However, I would love to buy a swanky BMW X-6 but it carries a hefty price tag.

The trend you are sporting at the moment

I’m wearing solid colours — browns, blacks and peaches. A few months ago I was wearing only neon colours.

Essentials in your handbag...

My iPad, a book, my wallet, glares, a pair of contact lenses, a hand-sanitiser, lip balm and a phone charger.

Indian designers whose creations you love wearing

I love Masaba Gupta’s creations. They are bold, colourful and come in out-of-the-box designs. I also admire Rocky S’s flamboyant dresses and Sabyasachi’s saris.

You have a nose for?

Dior Addict 2 and Davidoff Cool

Water for women. I also love perfumes by Elizabeth Arden, Hermes, Gucci and Narciso Rodriguez.

Whose closet do you envy and why?

I really envy actor Sonam Kapoor’s closet as she owns the best brands and exudes style.
