Style is the outward representation of the inner person. When there’s no conflict between the manifested outer image and the inner person — to me that’s true style.

How would you describe your closet — well-organised and spanking clean or dreadfully cluttered?

The state of my closet depends on my dance schedule. On days when I have a performance or a photo shoot, everything’s a mess. But on quieter days, it’s well-organised with everything in place.

Which character out of history would you like to dress as?

The wonderful women in Raja Ravi Verma’s paintings. I played two of them Damyanti and Menaka in a documentary dance drama.
