Oriental speciality restaurant Wasabee is bringing some sizzle to your plate with their Hibachi Festival. Traditionally, the hibachi is a heating device in Japan, but over the years its usage has been extended to an aluminium or metal-based small grill for barbecuing meat and veggies. t2 tucked into a few of these filling sizzlers and here’s what caught our taste buds.
Tender shreds of pork meat are grilled along with vegetables. Served with pork miso soup, and rice or noodles of your choice, this one is good enough for two.
Vegetarians need not be disappointed as the Vegetarian Hibachi, a sizzler with chunks of seasonal greens along with mushrooms and tofu in a spicy sauce, is also available alongside veg miso soup and a choice of rice or noodles.
Shrimps, octopus and squids come together in the Seafod Hibachi, a fragrant sizzler with enough variety to satiate any seafood lover.
