New Delhi, March 1: Krishan Dhawan is the new managing director of Oracle India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation.
Keith Budge, senior vice-president, Oracle Asia Pacific, said, ?Krishan brings with him more than 25 rich years of experience in the financial services and IT-enabled services sectors, having worked with Bank of America for 23 years across Asia Pacific and American markets. Krishan's deep understanding of global businesses will be of immense value to our more than 6250 existing customers and our future ones in India.?

Dhawan succeeds Shekhar Dasgupta who resigned from Oracle India last year in the middle of Oracle World organised by the company at Mumbai.
The company maintained that he has resigned to pursue a career in academia after having worked with the company for more than 12 years.
