Mumbai, July 20: Jet Airways has posted an 84 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 95.3 crore compared with Rs 51.96 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
Total income increased 43.66 per cent to Rs 1,345.36 crore from Rs 936.47 crore in the year-ago period.

The airline achieved a seat factor of 75.2 per cent compared with 69.0 per cent in the corresponding previous quarter.
The seat factor in international operations was 62 per cent (66 per cent for June 2005).
Jet Airways said it managed to keep the break-even seat factor of 64.8 per cent, despite a significant increase in fuel prices. Jet carried 2.25 million passengers, up 19 per cent from the year-ago period. It saw an all-round improvement in all parameters, including aircraft utilisation of 10.6 hours, up 7 per cent.
Jet started flights to more international destinations, including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and London, last month.
?Our recent order for the purchase of 20 wide-bodied aircraft to support our international operations, including 10 A330 aircraft and 10 B777 aircraft, underscores our ambitious plans for the future,? executive director Saroj Datta said.
