New Delhi, Aug. 18: HCL Infosystems Ltd (HCL Insys) has reported a 30 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 227.7 crore in the accounting year ended June 30 against Rs 175.1 crore in the previous year.

It has posted a 76 per cent growth in revenues at Rs 7783.6 crore compared with Rs 4411.8 crore in the previous year.

Chairman and CEO Ajai Chowdhry said, “We are moving ahead at a steady pace in our efforts to take information technology and telecommunications to the masses by strengthening our presence in smaller towns and cities. I am happy that the company has once again excelled.”

HCL Infosystem's consolidated revenue during the quarter ended June 30 grew by 66 per cent at Rs 2197.5 crore against Rs 1321.2 crore in the previous year.

The net profit for the quarter grew by 29 per cent at Rs 59 crore against Rs 45.9 crore in the previous year.

The company has registered a 37 per cent growth in revenue during the quarter from the computer systems business at Rs 533.5 crore against Rs 390.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
