Rohtas superintendent of police Chandan Kumar Kushwaha hands over a blanket to an elderly person at a function organised by Police Public Maitri Committee at Dehri-on-Sone in the district on Sunday. In total, more than 200 blankets were distributed among poor people at the function. While addressing the event, the superintendent of police lauded the initiative of the members of the committee. 'The purpose behind setting up the Police Public Maitri Committee was to promote women empowerment and welfare schemes for poor people in the district.
