Members of All India Progressive Women's Association and other organisations protest against the notification of UK Singh as the acting vice-chancellor (VC) of Patna University at Kargil Chowk in Patna on Saturday. The association said according to the Supreme Court’s order, the senior-most dean has to be made the acting VC. They also said Bharti S Kumar was the senior-most dean in the varsity as she had joined as a lecturer earlier than Singh.
