The toy train lies abandoned at Patna zoo on Monday. The service has been suspended over the past week. Officials said it would remain suspended for two months, pending repair of both the train and track. “Any government vehicle is phased out after five years but the train has been functioning for 11 years. It has given more service than expected. Service has been suspended because the engine got burnt and there is trouble with the wheels. The track has got damaged near the elephant enclosure. Phooltas Harsco Company and the ECR division of the Railways are helping us with the repair,” zoo director
