Patna: RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Thursday mocked Amit Shah's visit to Patna by posting on Facebook an imaginary conversation between the BJP national president and chief minister Nitish Kumar on seat sharing.
In the fictional conversation, Nitish tells Shah that he is ready to accept fewer Lok Sabha seats for the JDU on the condition of holding the state and Lok Sabha election together by projecting him as the chief minister face.
Shah replies that if that happens, crackers would go off not only in Pakistan but also among the Taliban.
In the post, Tejashwi insinuates that Nitish and Union minister Giriraj Singh - known for his controversial statements - have strong ties with each other. In the imaginary conversation, Shah asks Nitish why he cancelled the 2010 dinner for Narendra Modi. Nitish says he was strong then.
As Shah and Nitish get down to discussing seat sharing, Nitish tries his best to bargain but Shah rejects his demands one after another thereby showing the chief minister's present political credentials.
In the fictional conversation, Nitish asks for 25 of Bihar's 40 Lok Sabha seats by giving the example of the 2009 Lok Sabha election, but Shah reminds him that the JDU has just two MPs and the BJP has 22 MPs from Bihar.
In the conversation, which ends with no concrete decision, Nitish tells Shah that the wave of 2014 is history, and Shah reminds him that so is the Nitish of 2009.
JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar slammed Tejashwi for the imaginary conversation, saying that firecrackers would be burst by the poor people whose property was taken away by the RJD and was now being sealed (by central agencies).
