Patna: Super 30 emerged as the most searched topic on Google last week.
In recognition of the feat, Google played a short video on Super 30, with a class in session and a bearded man engaging the class. The top search was Hrithik Roshan, who plays the lead role in the upcoming film, Super 30. Like Anand, Hrithik also sports a stubble in the film.
On Teachers' Day, the first poster of the film was released with a caption: " Ab Raja ka beta raja nahin banega, ab raja wahi banega jo haqdar hoga (Now king's son will not be the king. Now, the deserving will be the king)."
The poster carried a picture of a stern-faced Hrithik. It has evoked tremendous response on Twitter and other social media platforms.
The film, set to be released on January 25, is based on Super 30 founder Anand Kumar, but captures the larger issue of education, its power and indispensability to transform lives by bringing about generational change.
Anand said he was also pleasantly surprised that Super 30 was among the top trends last week on Google.
"When I got to know of it, I searched it and saw a beautiful video clip on Super 30. It has been possible because of the well-wishers who searched for it. I am really overwhelmed and hope the film does really well, actor Hrithik Roshan, director Vikas Bahl and others have done real hard work," he added.
