People will have to pay extra to enjoy Sudha Dairy milk from Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Bihar Milk Co-operative Federation Ltd increased the price of toned milk by Re 1 per litre. Customers would have to pay Rs 29 per litre. For each litre of Sudha Gold and Sudha Shakti, customers would have to spend Rs 38 and Rs 34, respectively, Rs 2 more than the previous prices.
An official of the co-operative said: “Prices of all essential commodities have increased. So we increased the prices to cut losses of farmers.”
The price of double-toned milk has not been increased.
