Bihar Middle School Teachers' Association members smear ink on a faculty member of a government school in Patna City on Saturday to protest against the services of contract teachers not being regularised. The protesters, on a four-day strike since April 15, stopped the teachers from evaluating matriculation and Intermediate answer sheets. Not only did the members smear ink and lipstick on regular teachers but also those working on contract, at two schools in the Chowk area of Patna City. Text by Joy Sengupta, picture by Sachin
