A TV journalist earned Tej Pratap's ire after he clicked a picture of the health minister wielding a camera at the RJD foundation day programme.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad's elder son was handling the camera when television channel Aaj Tak's special correspondent Rohit Kumar Singh clicked a photograph on his cellphone. Many other photojournalists captured the moment on their still or video cameras.

But when party workers informed Tej, that a journalist had clicked his photograph, Tej instructed them to ask the journalist to delete it.

"It's my cellphone and I decide what to do with the photo. You can't ask me to do so," he told the workers. Told, Tej sounded his father. Lalu beckoned the correspondent and told him to delete the photo.

As the correspondent was stepping down the stage, Tej took the mike and shouted: "I am warning you, I will lodge defamation case against you. Delete it immediately."

Banka MP Jay Prakash Yadav tried to take the mike away but failed. Lalu too tried to stop his angry son. "It's over now. I am telling you he will delete it," he told his son. But Tej again shouted: "Delete that photo, I am telling you."

The correspondent kept listening but did not delete the photo. Irked journalists started leaving before Lalu requested them to stay. After the programme, Lalu called the correspondent over and asked Tej to shake hands with him.
