| Students perform a play during the Bihar State Level Science Drama Competition 2013-14 organised by Srikrishna Science Centre in association with State Council of Educational Training and Research Centre in Patna on Tuesday. Pandit Karyanand Sharma Plus 2 High School, Lakhisarai, won the competition. St Michael’s High School, Bhagalpur, and Government Girls’ High School, Shastri Nagar, emerged second and third, respectively. Pradipta Mukhopadhyay, the project co-ordinator of Srikrishna Science Centre, said: “The objective of the programme is to encourage the students, teachers and other science communicators to explore and experiment the dramatic form as a means of communication for science. Selected teams from seven divisions of the state participated in the competition. The theme of the competition — science and society — had four sub-themes, including energy crisis, health and hygiene, life and research of scientists and water conservation.
