Patna Government Railway Police claimed to have busted a gang after arresting an alleged robber from Patna-Hatia Express train on Saturday night.

The person, identified as Mohammad Tavrez, was caught trying to flee with a passenger's laptop. Police carried out raids based on his statement and recovered gold jewellery and mobiles.

The GRP also held two persons, Banti Kumar and Mohammad Sabir Alam, from the Patna Railway Junction. A briefcase containing two passports, costly garments and mobiles was found. They were remanded in judicial custody for two weeks by a railway court.
