Patna: The RJD is holding its division-wise meetings to spread the message of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail.
Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav has taken the responsibility to ensure his father's message reaches every one. Leaders of the party's Patna division were invited to the first meeting in which leaders from Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar, Nalanda, Kaimur and Rohtas were present.
At the meeting, Tejashwi asked MLAs, former MLAs, MLCs, former MLCs, MPs, former MPs, district heads and former district heads of six districts to reach out to everyone in their district with the message. "Lalu ji has issued a message to the people of Bihar," Tejashwi said. "It's the duty of every RJD leader and worker to spread the message." Tejashwi was addressing a closed-door meeting.
On Thursday it will be Saran division's turn. RJD leaders from Saran, Siwan, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Madhubani and Samastipur will participate. On Friday it will be Magadh division's turn and leaders from Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Jehanabad and Arawal will participate.
