Resuts cheer for CUCET examinees

The results of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)-2018, for admission in the forthcoming academic session 2018-19 of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) were declared on Saturday evening. The candidates can check their results on the CUCET website www.cucetexam.in.

Patna: The results of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)-2018, for admission in the forthcoming academic session 2018-19 of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) were declared on Saturday evening. The candidates can check their results on the CUCET website www.cucetexam.in.

Apart from Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), eight other universities are participating universities at Cucet. The entrance test was held on April 28 & 29, 2018, at 80 test centres across the country, including seven in Bihar.

CUSB public relations officer Mudassir Alam said: "Candidates can check their results going though the Cucet website. Candidates can check the results by logging on to the website of CUCET and putting their roll number and date of birth in the requisite fields."

Based on the ranking in CUCET, the successful candidates will be offered admission in the university of their choice. Besides, the results, details regarding the admission procedure and other related information shall be provided on the website of CUSB as well as CUCET. Alam said: "Successful candidates are advised to visit the website frequently to know about further instructions regarding admission."

According to sources, once the merit list is prepared, candidates can take admission in their choice of universities. Ankita Ranjan, a student of Magadh Mahila College, said: "I have gone through the CUCET results. I am happy that I have cleared the test. But I am tensed over where I will get admission."

She said: "We know that the faculty at development studies is very good and also the department is offering placements to students after completion of the two-years' masters in development studies."
