Ashwini Kumar Choubey, the BJP MLA from Bhagalpur, on Thursday embarked on Hunkar Rathyatra, a special campaign for the party’s Hunkar Rally in Patna on October 27. The party’s state in-charge, Vinod Pandey, and veteran leader CP Thakur flagged off the Hunkar Rathyatra from Bateshwar Sthan temple in Kahalgaon. Choubey said the rath would travel through Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger and Lakhisarai districts till October 21. It will reach Patna on October 26. Bhagalpur MP Shahnawaz Hussain said the party workers were busy mobilising supporters to Patna.
