Patna, June 8: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) chairman, Vineet Joshi, today said there would be no rechecking of the Class XII board examination answer sheets for the Patna region before he investigates into the allegation of average marking.

State human resource development minister (HRD) P.K. Shahi, who is in New Delhi to meet Union HRD minister Kapil Sibal, told The Telegraph: “I spoke to the CBSE chairman today. He said he would not go for re-evaluation unless he investigates the matter.”

A delegation of Bihar Public School and Children’s Welfare Association met officials at the CBSE Patna office.
