Hotel Panache chef Soumya Mukherjee (centre) presents a spread for a food festival in Patna starting Thursday. The attraction will be shawarmas, a Persian meat preparation where lamb, chicken or mutton are placed on a spit and then served inside a roti with other condiments. Manish Kumar, the manager (right), said the festival will run till June 18. Mukherjee said this is the first time in Patna when residents can taste Persian dishes.
