Kautilya Restaurant and Banquet, a unit of Ex-Army Men's Protection Services Pvt Ltd, Patna, is going to present Valentine Day Hungama on February 14 at Hotel Kautilya Vihar.

The managing director of the Ex-Army men's Protection Services, Sunil Kumar Sinha, while addressing a news meet, said: "The main purpose of the event is to give residents a golden opportunity to celebrate the festival of love."

Bollywood actresses Payal Rohtagi and Mahek Chahal have been invited to perform in the event, which would be organised from 2pm to 8pm. The food is complimentary with an entry fee of Rs 2,500 for a couple. One has to pay Rs 1,500 for a live performance with the celebrities. Entry for children below 5 years is free. Bar facility will also be made available for the attendees. Bouncers and local police will be deputed for security purposes. There are 200 seats available for which booking will start three days in advance.

Felicitation ceremony

Bihar Kala Sangh held a felicitation ceremony at the Indian Institute of Business Management to honour Shyam Sharma, a renowned painter and artist, on his 75th birthday on Monday.

He has been appointed as chairperson of the advisory board of National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. Chanchal Kumar, secretary to chief minister Nitish Kumar, was the chief guest at the event. Shailendra Sati Prasad, a well-known educationist, was the special guest. Shiv Charan Prasad, Satyendra Kumar Sangeet and the artists and members of Bihar Kala Sangh congratulated Shyam Sharma and sang songs to welcome him.
