Elected female representatives of gram panchayats across the state take out an umbrella march in Patna on Tuesday. The representatives, who took out the rally from Kidwaipuri to Income Tax roundabout, reached the planetarium for a seminar organised for the representatives by non-government organisation Hunger Project. The seminar was organised to make the elected female representatives aware of their responsibilities and powers in their respective areas. The non-government organisation had organised another seminar on Monday at AN Sinha Institute of Social Sciences, which was attended by around 50 female representatives from the panchayat-level.
