Actors from Bihar seem to be hot picks for the Bigg Boss house every season.

Dinesh Lal Yadav, alias Nirahua, the highest paid actor in the Bhojpuri film industry, was chosen as one of the participants in the reality show starting Sunday.

Earlier, actors Ravi Kissen, Sambhavna Seth, Kamal Khan, Manoj Tiwari, Shweta Tiwari and Amar Upadhyay, took part in the show in various seasons.

Sources close to Nirahua said: “Yes, he (Dinesh) has been chosen by the channel (Colors). The contract has been signed. Nirahua has a huge fan following in the Bhojpuri industry.”

The sources added that the actor has been paid more than Rs 1 crore for being part of Bigg Boss Season 6.

“Nirahua has received a handsome amount to be a part of the show. At present, he charges Rs 55 lakh for a film. He will make a grand entry in the show by performing with one of the popular actresses in the Bhojpuri industry,” said a source.

Nirahua shot to fame with Ganga Devi in 2012. Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were part of the film too.

He has made a place in the Bhojpuri industry but it would be interesting to watch the actor in the new role. “At least his fans would be able to see how the actor blends deshi tadka with the parivarik punch every night,” the source added.

The 30-year-old actor, who is renowned for singing Biraha (folk songs of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh), hails from Gajipur district in Uttar Pradesh. His album, Nirahua Satal Rahe, which released in 2003, was an instant hit.
