Patna: Bihar State Haj Committee (BSHC) dispatched the first batch of Haj pilgrims on Wednesday. Around 500 pilgrims flew to Delhi on a Go Air flight, said BSHC public relations officer Khurshid Anwar.SHC chairman Anisur Rahman Qasmi said he would pray for a safe journey for the pilgrims and wished them luck. About 5,575 pilgrims have submitted their documents for the pilgrimage this year. Batches would be sent to Delhi everyday till October 23.Patna: K.K. Patna: The Fulwari police have unearthed a mini gun factory at Lodhipur village under the Maner police station. Fulwari deputy superintendent of police Rakesh Dubey said one Gorakh Mochi was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and a countrymade pistol wasrecovered from him. After interrogating him, the police raided his house and recovered two pistols and a single bore gun.Patna: Constable Manoj Bihari, who has been absconding for the past 11 years, was arrested and sent to jail on Wednesday. Bihari was wanted in an Arms Act case. Gardanibag police station inspector Vinod Kumar said Bihari was hiding in a house in Takhanpur.
