Mishap kills woman

Patna: A middle-aged woman was killed on Monday afternoon after being hit by a speeding autorickshaw near a temple under the Alamganj police station. he woman was rushed to a nearby hospital but she succumbed to her injuries. The autorickshaw driver fled leaving his vehicle behind.

Temple theft

Patna: A temple in the Alamganj police station area was looted late on Sunday night. Residents found the lock on the main gate of the temple broken on Monday and ornaments of the deities missing.

Arrest

Patna: Fatehpur panchayat head Siya Ram Singh was arrested on Monday for his alleged involvement in the embezzlement of funds meant for Indira Awas Yojana.

Boy recovered

Gaya: Police recovered seven-year-old Golu who was kidnapped on December 23. Three abductors, Rajnish, Rahul and Golum, were arrested.
