Patna: A high court bench of Justice Sheema Ali Khan on Monday dismissed a petition filed through advocate SBK Mangalam seeking disqualification of nine nominated members of the Legislative Council, as they did not fulfil the criteria for being nominated to the Upper House. he bench dismissed the plea saying that it cannot check facts to examine the validity of nomination made by the governor under Article 171 of the Constitution.
