Aid to victims

Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday announced that family members of two victims of electrocution of Kankerbagh area would be given ex gratia of Rs 1 lakh each by Patna Municipal Corporation. He also announced that each family will get Rs 50,000 from the chief minister’s relief fund.

Expelled

Patna: Around 250 students appearing for the matriculation examination being conducted by Bihar School Examination Board, were expelled from all over Bihar on Friday. The students were expelled as they were found cheating in the social science paper.

Fine imposed

Patna: Bihar State Information Commission fined two government officials for not adhering to provisions of RTI Act.
