Patna: All 11 candidates, who had filed nomination for the Legislative Council, were declared elected unopposed on Thursday. Prominent among the winners were chief minister Nitish Kumar, his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi and former chief minister Rabri Devi. Patna: Twenty-year-old Rohit Gupta, who had set himself ablaze on Wednesday, succumbed to his injuries at Apollo Burns Hospital on Thursday. Patna: Candidates wishing to file nominations for the upcoming civic elections can now submit an affidavit approved by circle officer or executive magistrate of their areas in a format issued by the state election commission instead of the certificate issued by registered surveyors.
