Araria (PTI): JD(U) MLA Sarfaraz Alam on Thursday surrendered before judicial magistrate P.K. Ratan in connection with a case charging him with assaulting a petrol pump owner. lam is the son of former Union minister Mohammad Taslimuddin. He was later released on bail.Patna: A resident of the Buddha Colony area was beaten up on Thursday evening by criminals, who had entered her home to steal.
