President to visit varsity

Darbhanga, Feb. 12: President Pratibha Patil would visit Darbhanga on March 21.he would be the chief guest at the convocation ceremony of Lalit Narayan Mithila University. Rashtrapati Bhavan has requested for programme schedule and other details about the function which will be sent in a day or two, said varsity vice-chancellor S.P. Singh.

Gaya: The Bhutan government, in its attempt to strengthen its relation with Bihar, has offered to construct a monastery of the country at Bodhgaya and Rajgir. In view of the offer made by Bhutan Prime Minister Jigmie Y. Dorjee to construct the monastery, home minister of the country Minjun Dorji visited Bodhgaya on Saturday.
