Patna: CBSE students who have received incorrect admit cards with “private candidate” written on them, can get these corrected at their schools, said CBSE joint secretary-cum-regional officer for Bihar and Jharkhand, M.V.V. Prasada Rao on Friday. The mistake has been done only with a few students’ cards. It can be corrected at the schools,” Rao added.

Results

Patna: RP Sharma Institute of Technology registrar R.K. Singh said on Friday the institute has performed well in the university examinations and all its students have passed. Magadh University declared the results of BTech Part I, Part II and Part IV examinations.

Direction

Patna: Patna High Court on Friday directed the state government to come out with a disaster management plan by August 2011 both at the state and the district levels according to the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 to mitigate the impact of disasters . While hearing a PIL by Chhaya Sarkar, a bench of Justice Shiva Kirti Singh and Justice Gopal Prasad gave time to the state government to prepare the plan after it submitted that it has given the job to GP Sinha Institute of Disaster Management, which would take six months.
