Teachers suspended for forgery
Patna: Eighteen teachers of panchayat schools have been suspended on the charge of securing jobs on forged certificates in Rohtas district.ohtas district magistrate Anupam Kumar said the teachers were suspended on Saturday on the basis of an inquiry report, which found their education certificates to be fake. The block education officials was directed to lodge an FIR against the suspended teachers, he said, adding that he had received complaints from residents of the area about the credentials of the teachers and subsequently ordered a probe into the matter.Patna: Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Mehboob Ali Quaiser on Sunday appointed All Bihar State Throwball Association president Kaushal Kishore Singh as organiser of the party sports wing. The march started from Dakbangalow roundabout and finished at station road. Patna: The power situation in Bihar worsened on Sunday after it received less than half its central quota of 1,722MW. The state received 877MW power because of shut down of two thermal power plant units one each at Farakka and Kahalgaon, BSEB spokesman H.R. Pandey said. Both the units closed power generation because of less availability of water and a technical snag respectively.
