Robbers land in cop net

Patna: Three persons, identified as Sanjay Prasad, Ajay Rajak and Ranjeet Kumar, were arrested on Tuesday in connection with robbery at two wholesale medical shops located on Govind Mitra road under Pirbahore police station last week. hree cellphones and Rs 2,250 were seized from them.

Caught

Patna: One Sagar Mallick was arrested from Agamkaun locality in Patna City on the charge of stealing a motorcycle. In another operation, the Beur police nabbed Sanjeet Kumar alias Chhotu from Koelwar and recovered a stolen pick up van.

Arrest

Patna: A criminal identified as Rajesh Mandal alias Kunal was arrested from Buddha Colony police station area in Patna after he snatched a gold chain at gun point from a woman on Tuesday.

Patna: Urban development minister Prem Kumar, while chairing a review meeting on Tuesday, directed the National Building Construction Corporation officials to start Yogipur sump house or face legal action.

Patna: The high court on Tuesday asked the state government to furnish the lists of vacancies of teachers in different colleges of the universities within a week.The bench of Justice Shiva Kirti Singh and Justice Vikash Jain also sought reply from the state government on the steps being taken by it to fill the vacancies.
