Patna, May 14: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inaugurated new Nalanda Indoor Shooting range at Kalyanbigha in Nalanda district. Motihari: A jewellery merchant, Kapildeo Saraf, was robbed of nearly Rs 20 lakh, when about four armed criminals entered his showroom posing as customers on Patel Path at Raxaul late on Friday evening and decamped after holding the proprietor and the employees of the shop at gunpoint. Motihari: A criminal, Pintu Tiwari, was lynched, while two others were seriously injured after they were caught trying to extort money from one Lal Bhagat in Parsa village under Malahi police area of the district late on Friday night. Patna: The State Bank of India (SBI), as part of its community service, on Saturday organised a programme for “Girl Child Adoption”, where SBI adopted 50 underprivileged school girls. Members of SBI Mahila Samiti will adopt one girl child each and will take personal care of them.
