Patna: The Patna University administration has issued guidelines that the central library of the university will remain open only till 7pm despite protests by students’ bodies.he university authorities felt that the library was becoming a safe haven for “people with ulterior motive” and issued the guideline that the library will remain open from 7am to 7pm. Earlier, the library used to remain open for 24 hours. Patna: Kushagra Aniket, who scored 96.8 per cent in his Class XII board examination has won the Tata Fellowship and will pursue a four-year undergraduate course at Cornell University in the US. Ratan Tata is an alumnus of Cornell. Patna: Pradhan Parthsarthi, a professor of Central University of Bihar, K.P. Sinha, a professor of LN Mithila University, and five other professors of different state universities have been made co-ordinator for the admission to seven central universities. Eligible students can apply till June 2. The online application form and prospectus can be procured from the Central University of Bihar (Patna) office. Patna: A final-year MBBS student Rajesh Kumar drowned at the Kantahi Ghat under Alamganj police station on Monday. Kumar was pursuing MBBS from Patna Medical College and Hospital and was a resident of Kankerbagh. Patna: The state unit of JD (U) has accused the Congress and RJD of fooling the people.
