Patna: A division bench of the high court on Wednesday directed Patna superintendent of police (SP) (traffic) Chandrika Prasad to initiate action against truck operators, who park their vehicles between Mithapur and Khagaul and sell vegetables on the road. he court observed that the SP has powers to do so according to the provisions of Bihar Police Act, 2007. The observation came while hearing a PIL filed by Vidyanand Kuer. Buxar: A 15-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by five persons at Nandan village in Dum-raon on Wednesday morning.
