Six girls rescued

Bagaha: Police rescued six girls, aged between 16 and 20, at a place between Madanpur and Palkhar from being allegedly traf¬ficked to Saudi Arabia on Sunday, superintendent of police Pushkar Anand said. One Dilip Choud¬hary was arrested for try¬ing to take away the girls.

Patna: Sashastra Seema Bal Wives’ Welfare Association started a threemonth beauticiantraining course on Sun¬day. Association presi¬dent Praneeta Jha inau¬gurated the course.

With an aim to generate a sense of accomplishment and development managerial skills among the life partners of Sashastra Seem Bal (SSB) personnel, the SSB wives welfare association has organised a threemonth beautician training course. Association president Praneeta Jha inaugurated the training programme on Sunday in the presence of other office bearers of the association, a SSB press note said.
